Faculty members from the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (UC CONAHS) actively participated in the Leadership Development (LEAD) Batch 3 held on March 18–19, 2026, at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center – Cancer Center Training Hall.
Representing the college were Program Chair Judith A. Layao, who served as Head Staffer, alongside Level II Coordinator Nasper P. Anod, and faculty members Ferdinand C. Tercero and Christian J. Basatan. Their participation highlights UC CONAHS’ strong commitment to continuous professional development and leadership excellence in nursing education.
The two-day training aimed to strengthen leadership competencies, enhance decision-making and management skills, and empower faculty members to effectively contribute to both academic and healthcare environments. Through engaging lectures, collaborative workshops, and reflective activities, participants were able to deepen their understanding of leadership principles and apply them to real-world educational and clinical settings.
This initiative underscores UC CONAHS’ dedication to producing not only competent educators but also transformative leaders who can drive innovation, quality improvement, and positive change within the healthcare system and the academic community.
