Kapangan, Benguet — March 6, 2026 — BSN 4G-D students from the University of the Cordilleras College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, accompanied by Clinical Instructor Ma’am Princess Ngipol, participated in the 2nd Kapangan Grand March Festival (Amburayan Day) held at Amburayan River, Taba-ao, Kapangan, Benguet.
As part of their community immersion, the students rendered medical assistance services throughout the event, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants and attendees. Positioned as part of the medical standby team, they were prepared to respond to minor injuries, health concerns, and emergency situations that may arise during the festivities.
Beyond providing healthcare support, the students also took part in the celebration, immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage of the Kapangan community. The Amburayan Day festivities highlight the significance of the Kapangan Grand March, a cultural expression that honors local identity, unity, and tradition.
This initiative reflects UC CONAHS’ commitment to integrating service, cultural appreciation, and experiential learning, allowing students to actively contribute to community well-being while gaining meaningful field experience.
